Getting my hands on a DeHavilland Beaver and bought the GP26 for power. The recommended prop is 18X10, but I might go with a 3-bladed prop. What would be the appropriate size for 3 blades?

A more accurate way to determine this would be via an "ecalc" like this one:
get your electric rc drive right ✓ fast & reliable simulation - no more guessing ✓ most comprehensive motor database ☆ prevents mispurchase since 2004

However, my "rule of thumb" goes something like this ................................ going from 2-blade to 3-blade ............... reduce diameter by "1" OR reduce pitch by "1". So using your example of 18x10 for 2-bl, either go to 17x10 or 18x9 for 3-bl.
