  • Edf motor wires question

In reading all of these great posts on the squawk, and watching your videos, the current generation of edf jets from FreeWing perform quite well. I've not flown one yet, I'm working up to it. I've got the FW F-16 V2, and I'm surprised how the motor wires leave the motor and go through a channel in the exhaust that leads to in front of the fan. The air in the exhaust is higher pressure than in front of the fan. Has anyone sealed this wiring route and put a fairing around those wires?
I noticed the slick way some edf makers run their wires through a stator, very clean, no wires disrupts airflow and no leak in the exhaust tube. After all, doesn't every little bit help? What say you?

I never mess with that..What I do though is heat shrink the connectors on the motor/esc together so they can't come loose. That is after I run up the motor to make sure it's turning in the proper direction.
