Quick question.......have this motor, 2215/09 1200KV came with model. they say to use a 9.45 prop.....the motor says to use a 10.4 to 10.6 "What will happen???????? Thanks beng (plane has a 2200 4s power pack and a 30 A ESC)

The 9x4.5 prop should be used on 4S. You can use the the larger 10" props if you want to run on 3S. The smaller prop is required to keep the amps in check with the higher battery voltage of the 4S.Comment

As RR liked to say, "Trust, but verify". No two props are exactly alike in power draw, even with the same nominal specs. All electric fliers, IMO, should have a Watt meter. Even the cheap ones will let you know how close you are to letting the smoke out.Comment
