  • 2600 3S Admiral batteries

I have been purchasing the Admiral 2600 3S batteries a few at a time to replace my aging 2200 batteries. I like the size and have been very pleased with them.

In a recent order I received two Admiral 2600 3S batteries that are a totally different size than the batteries I have been getting. They are 40mm wide, 14mm thick and 135mm long.

Have you changed battery shape and sizes for the 2600 3S? I prefer the size of the batteries listed on your web site. Is there a part number I can use to insure I get the correct batteries in the future?

    Thanks

    Jim

    Jim,
We are working with our manufacturer to clear up the issue. We have requested that they make sure production runs include the original, shorter version of the 2600mah 3S.

If you cannot use the battery you received, please contact customer service and they will give you instructions on how to return your product for a refund. Sorry for any inconvenience.

      Hi Jim,

We found out the manufacturer put the wrong label on your batteries. That is why the battery is larger. You have a completely different 3S battery with a 2600mAh label. Please contact customer support and we will send you the correct battery. The manufacturer switched labels on two battery sizes. We have figured it out and removed those batteries from stock. We are really sorry for the problem.

        Greetings Guys,

See??? That's what I'm talking about!!!!

No other RC company that I could begin to think of other than MRC would have taken the time to track that down!! I simply don't understand how the 'other' companies stay afloat.......

That is indeed a good fast call by Motion to correct the situation.

Simply amazing, that both owners are involved with this one situation! If there is anyone who doesn't know MRC by now, they are hiding under a rock.

I was in Branson, Missouri this past week spending time with my family on vacation. While flying my Phantom Vision 2+ (from Motion, of course), I was approached by a guy from across the street who was really intrigued by it. He came out of his cottage, after not speaking to me the whole week, and we had a great conversation about not the just the Phantom, but about how well-run Motion is, and that's the only place I'd purchase it from. He's a nitro guy, but assured me he'd be looking into Motion by the afternoon. Motion makes it easy and conflict-free to promote them!

Mark and Tom, I know it has to be tough keeping up with this many customers and trying to be the best at all times, but, "Thank You, Thank You, Thank You", for staying the course. I only hope your return in both profits as well as blessings, are great!

Best service on the internet, by far! Thanks Motion RC.

By the way, what is the correct info on the mislabeled batteries? I had already changed the plugs when I got your message, so I couldn't send them back, I can find a use for about any battery<smiley image="smiley_wink.gif"/>

The other companies do stay afloat very well. MRC is the best out there. I only buy from them if I can help it. I have no idea what I have spent with them, but I would guess in the thousands (5-8). I will keep buying as long as they get new planes in :)
