does anyone make a replacement edf motor that will fit freewing edf units?

There are some very knowledgeable folk here on the squawk (I'm not one of them!) who could answer your question, but that is a pretty tall order not knowing which fms plane, what size fan and battery cell count. Are you talking upgrade or stock type?

The Outrunner & Inrunner has different shrouds .. Finding a Outrunner maybe difficult.. Inrunner is much easier to find a replacement.. Problem about upgrading is you have to change the esc to match the amp draw of the replacement motor.. The Freewing Outrunner already draws around 90 plus Amps so any higher kv motor will send it 100 plus Amps thus reducing your flts times .. You should look at Jetfans or such as a upgrade in performance..

i have a freewing esc from a 90 stinger so that is not a problem, can you buy a inrunner shroud? I can swap the rest over, are there any pictures of the inrunner shroud available, or has someone already done the swap?
