I posted this over on RCG as well. Need some advice on kits that would provide the necessary brightness. These will be going on my E-Flite P-47 Razorback.
We fly primarily first thing in the morning to avoid the winds (field is surrounded by trees that cause a lot of rotors). If I approach from East to West. The morning sun, even from behind the trees, create a shadowy area and the model turns into a black shape. Very difficult to keep orientation. I’m wondering if bright strobe LEDs would help combat this. I’ve already added two inch wide yellow stripes to the top of the wings. But, they don’t really “pop” until the sun hits them...which is the opposite end of the field.
Thoughts/experience?
Thanks
