It is literally a pocket color scanner. After playing around with it I realized that this thing is going to be much more useful than I thought.
I do custom waterslide decals, and sometimes I have to print on white decal paper. In the past this meant doing a lot of test prints to try and match the background. This device took a huge amount of work away as the scan produces a color hex code that I can use on the background of the decals that should be a close match.
Results are displayed on an app running on your phone or tablet
It also will tell you what brand and color to get from the big box stores when you need to repaint or match a scraped wing.
