Once my second tail wheel on my corsair broke off I decided to improve on it rather than order more parts. I simply found a 3" long by 3/16" diameter bolt. Drilled out the yoke that holds the wheel & control arm to 3/16". Then I trimmed off the gap below the control arm with a dremel, then trimmed the tab off the bottom of the control arm too for a nice flush fit. Ran the bolt through the whole assembly with the head of the bolt in the yoke. Epoxied the yoke to the bolt head. Then used 2 nuts & epoxy to secure the control arm. The nut below the control arm perfectly took up the space where the gap used to be. Works fantastic & that sucker WILL NOT break again.
