Hi, I just obtained one of these airplanes and was just checking it out prior to flying by trying out the controls.
This is the airplane with the new SAFE and has 3 user modes, Beginner, Intermediate and Expert.
When I was checking the plane out after binding it with a Spectrum DX9 I noticed that the red light located in the airplane started to flash when in Mode 2, it does not flash in either mode 1 or mode 3.
I thought I might be having a problem with the plane not binding completely when I saw the flashing light so I contacted Horizon Hobby for clarification as to the flashing light.
I am advised that the flashing light in the plane is just to let the user know they are in mode 2 and there is nothing to worry about.
Just wanted to share this information with anyone who may have noticed the flashing light in user mode 2.
