      RE: New forum

      Greetings TooTall,

      I hope all is well.

I did receive an email from MRC but it only stated that logging into the new forum would require resetting my password.

I still haven't figured how it insert a photo within a post on the new system without it just appearing as an attachment link.
I really liked that simple capability in the old system.

And (I know I keep saying it) there is no link here on the new forum directly back to MRC. I miss that as well.

          Greetings KJ,

I noticed this is your third post and wanted to say Welcome, just in case we haven't gotten around to it yet.

The new site is growing on me. I miss some of the features of the old site and hope that soon they too will be transferred here.

              RE: New forum

Rockteer. Hey my friend, tips and tricks navigating the web site. As stated the new forum is its own site. So I just click on MRC already open widow when I want to go back. Then click on the forum widow to get back here. its quicker and easier than the old way by far. I can have up to 5 open widows at a time on my little lap top. Say I wanna go to my face book. Just click on it and I'm there, then click on MRC and I'm there, The key? Dont close the window when you leave. The window remains open on my tool bar enabling me to return when ever I want at just a click of the mouse. Hope this helps

                Greetings Fly Boy,

                Hope you're doing well.

Thanks for the navigation tips. The new forum is going to be OK it just doesn't posess the MRC exclusivity feel any more.
That's OK too because it seems that the primary/frequent users are the same as before.

It's like living in an apartment building where you have the primary long term residents mixed with folks who come and go. Then one day you wake up to find you have a new landlord and he re-painted everything while you were sleeping. All in all though it's still the same residents so not much has really changed.
