Greetings Gang,
I have to admit, that at first I was a bit confused as to why MRC would randomly throw so many un-announced changes to our happy MRC Forum Family.
Well, as it turns out we are no longer perse' an MRC Forum (we may never have been, but at least before it felt like it).
When we select "forum" from the MRC web site, we are sent through a portal to what is now Hobby Squawk - an open to anyone hobby forum. Not that that is bad, but for me it removes the community and continuity we have come to know when sharing information, ideas, concepts and experiences privy to those who shop primarily with MRC.
How do I know this? Well, I have been wondering why we can't return directly to the 'mother ship' (MRC) once in the forum? So, logically, I asked. This is an excerpt of what I received.
There is no back button to Motion RC because this is a stand alone website. We may have a presence here obviously, but we really want this to become an open RC community, not only for Motion RC customers.
Again, this concept is ok. We as MRC loyalists' can still communicate with each other but, for me it loses a little something 'special' that I felt knowing what we all had in common was being an "MRC" community.
I have places like RC Groups and such to fulfill my "open RC community needs" if necessary.
It's all good I suppose.
