    dhc-2 beaver spinner problems!

    hi,hey anyone ever put a 3-blade with spinner on there beaver?? i got a prop and spinner but the spinner will not work on this setup anybody know where i can get a spinner for 3-blade prop that will work??

    You do know that you can carefully cut the spinner, if it doesn't fit the prop blades, right? If the prop hub doesn't fit, that's a different story, though. I've found that Master AirScrew props tend to have large hubs that are hard to fit spinners, but EMP props have smaller hubs. I replaced the stock 3-blade on my Trojan with an EMP, using a stock spinner, carefully carved to fit. Works fine, as long as you maintain the balance.

      I put a 3 blade Windsor prop on my Flyzone Beaver with a Dubro spinner. It really looks good and scale. I did have to trim a little on the spinner for a good fit. It also has plenty of thrust! Be sure to use a 3 blade prop 1" shorter than the stock prop. Also, it is good to add 1" to the pitch. Balance your props!!! Have fun! The Doctor

        thanks guys i thought bout cutting it buttt lol afraid i would mess it up. there has got to be one out there that fits it. i have a 3 blade dynam 11x7 but master airscrew has one too,but finding one in stock somewhere is the problem.

        now i got to find some paint to match the island wing beaver red.
        [hr]
        found some good clear coat to put on but need to touch up paint first.
