    MrRCsound...OMG!!!

    Hello everyone. 2 weeks ago I bought the MrRC sound system with 2-TT-25 transducers. All I can say is OMG it's amazing. I installed it in my FMS 1450mm P-51D Red Tail and took it to the flying field. I didn't tell anyone that I had it. then walked out to the flight line. There was about 20 of our club members in the pits getting set up. I set the p-51 on the runway and fired it up and started to taxi out. I turned my head to the pits and everyone was running out to me saying, " OMG what is it, where did you get it, how much is it, I got to have one ect. ect..."  I took off and everyone and myself was just blown away. The Big RR Merlin sound filled the sky. It was incredible. So loud you could hear it a half mile away and maybe more. Talk about adding a new dimension to electric flying. After I landed and taxied back I was surrounded by everyone with big smiles. Everyone was simply amazed as was I. My P-51 has been the talk of the town/field ever since and at least 10 people that I know of have one on their wish list.

    I highly recommend it to anyone who loves to show off....LOL

      Wow am i glade to hear that you like the mrrcsound system and every body else does to. The owner of MRRCSound has strives to make the best rc sound system out their. He is constantly trying to up grade and make bigger advancement to this system. Keep looking at his and our web site for new improvements to this. Have you had a chance to try the whistle and guns yet they work very well. Thanks for the great thread you posted and again so excited to hear you like this system. I have actually went with the owner several times to rc airshows and it just makes me smile to see the reactions from people. First we always hear we went to electric for the quietness but then when they hear what it does i have to ask them if they need a napkin so funny.

      I have the MRRcsound system in my Flyzone Beaver, it's awesome. I have a question for anyone with the Freewing Mustang, which I just purchased. I have an extra speaker and I made the control board removable in the beaver so I could switch planes. I would like to put the speaker and controller in the mustang. The Freewing comes with a sound option but I opted not to get it and try to use the MRRcsound I had. I was wondering if anyone has put the system in that plane?

        Hello retiredflyer. All the videos I've seen with the freewing mustang with sound have the speakers mounted in the bottom of the plane. My Mustang is FMS and I use the TT-25 transducers and they mount in a different location than the Freewing mustang. I'm not sure if the canopy is removable on the freewing plane like the FMS does which is where the transducers are located and the card. Mrrcsound has installation videos but they use the FMS plane. I'm sure you could email Andrew at Mrrcsound and he could help with locations with the Freewing.
