Art Tech Models....

I am surmising that since MRC carries FMS, there would be no chance of stocking any Art Tech models. I just purchased the Art Tech(HK) Pilatus Porter PC-6, 1700mm w/s. It is a beautiful scale STOL model, very nice size, & well made.

Hey Yorkiepap,

MRC did carry Art Tech for a while, but dropped them about a year ago. While I never had any real issues with the models, evidently a lot of people did and MRC decided to drop them. There is a thread somewhere on this forum about the decision to drop Art Tech, if you do a search, I am sure you can find it and get more information.

Good luck with your Pilatus! HK has a Pilatus PC-9/Texan II that I really like, but so far only in the International warehouse. WAY too much shipping to make it feasible to get it.

Hi Denny,

We did carry Art-Tech in the past but the quality was not up to Motion RC standards. We decided to discontinue the brand because the quality never changed after repeated conversations with the CEO of Art-Tech. I could go into significantly greater detail but it would not benefit anybody. We will likely never carry anything from Art-Tech again.

I have 3 ART-TECH pitts. The foam is low quality. They only have one center aileron servo. The paint peels off. They were under powered. Etc.,etc. That being said, they are my favorite aerobatic planes, but only after repainting, upping the power, changing the landing gear, and beefing up all the weak points. Don't ever crash one. You'll be picking up pieces the rest of the day! They will do a Lomcovac maneuver like you wouldn't believe! The Doctor
