was wondering if anyone else is having a fit trying to program the mini convergenc vtol? I have a dx9 and have never had to program a mix, the manual is not very helpful.

You have to think like a computer...
decide on one mix to make work, do that and test. Adjust until correct.
Next mix.. Note that you have to go back and check its effects on the first mix if they share any RX channels.
Unfortunately I don't have the right airplane to just list your mix plan.
You do have to start with the correct "wing type" (assuming DX9 programs like the DX18) If you do that step wrong, you won't be able to succeed. (Had to pick "taileron" wing type to make the F-14 work right)FF gliders and rubber power since 1966, CL 1970-1990, RC since 1975.

Looking at the manual, it's not that different from the original Convergence (which I have flown for many, many flights). There is no mix involved in programming the TX for this plane. The onboard flight controller does it all. Page 4 tells you all you need to know under transmitter SetUp. It's actually very simple. Look at the box titled "Computerized Transmitter SetUp". That's all you need to do to the Tx to get this thing going. The manual tells you everything you need to know to do this.
