  • New life into a old eflite plane

    Here it is, my old P40, got new servos and a new 10amp esc, with a 4ch reciever. Hopefully the weather cooperates with me so i can maiden tomorrow.

    I hope it flies better than mine did. We call it the flying brickster. It now sits on its stand looking like the desktop model it should’ve been

      I use to fly it on 800mah 3s packs. It didn't like it at all, this time im flying on 500mah 3s. Hopefully the weight reduction will be the key

        I can't remember but I think we flew ours on old TP 720mah 2S batteries. Now, it flies on a stand in my shop collecting dust. I think the airfoil was too thin. Mine was so scary when you hand launched it but once it got up on step, it flew pretty well.

          Yeah thats exactly what i remembered with mine. The little bit i do. Im just hoping the 3s will allow her to get on step faster. Hope to see soon. Rain out today

            I seen where the original spec packs were 430 2s packs. So maybe this will work out. Hopefully.

                      Yeah, my finger tip pushed over the trailing edge just enough to make an extreme pucker factor moment. Lol just glad luck was on my side for that one.:Whew:
