      RE: Lemon Rx

They are great!!! And yes they are even better than those marketed by Spektrum. The new diversity antenna RXs work really well. I also like the gyro stabilized Rxs.

I use these in almost all my Spektrum models (gliders and EDF jets). I have to admit that I'm moving over to Fry Sky. But as I have some models on my legacy DX 9, so I'll be using the lemons for a while.

Wow, that shows you have a lot of self control.
At the prices of the Lemon RX I usually buy one to two dozen at a time. Yes, I really buy that many at a time. And I've yet to have a bad one. Can't say that of the Spektrum brand. But to be fair I was flew Spektrum and Extreme Flight 2.4 gHz early on so I suffered through some of the early teething pains of 2.4gHz.

Don't get me wrong DSM2 works but I have to ask why you aren't on DSMX?

              RE: Lemon Rx

I've used Spektrum for years with very little problems. The only real problem has been, my first Dx6i eventually went haywire. I upgraded the roller, but that didn't help. My other Spektrums work great. Value Hobby sells some very inexpensive receivers that seem to work fine, and are Spektrum compatable. I'm using one to see how well they perform. I probably wouldn't use these in more expensive planes. Doc

Now I don't associate price with quality. Far too often it is just paying for marketing.

With RX I like to perform range tests to see which RX is best. I also often have a "tattle tale" device that lets me see how many data frames I've lost. The lower the count the better the RF link.

The Lemon diversity antenna RXs have always rated better than the Spektrum branded RXs I have.

Now I admit I know nothing of what Value Hobby sells (markets).
