Sorry Grossy, but I'd prefer it's wooden little brother:Originally posted by Grossman56 View PostJust finished reading a book on the Dam Busters raid and the Canadian involvement. Still waiting for Alpha to bring out the Lancaster bomber that he was Freudian slipping about when he was interviewed about the B-24

The Skymaster is a very unique twin engine airplane that could be done up in either a civil and military liveries. This airplane could be quite popular.

Any classic warbird in the 1600mm size. They have the Corsair, Spitfire, P-38, Tigercat. I know alot of people say the P-51 mustang has been done to death, but I just got into this sport and any P-51 I can get my hands on in this size is balsa, (i rather have foam) and just to leave the ground with it would cost 300-500 extra. All the rest are too small or out of stock or discontinued. So a 1600mm P-51 Mustang with a Merlin in Gunfighter green and yellow. That would go perfectly with the 1600mm Corsair and Spitfire I already have. Thank You

J. STEPHENSON, Welcome to Hobby Squawk. Ditto on a 1600mm P-51 and a "B" Model with the "Malcolm Hood" style canopy would make it mo' bettterer. Best, LB"I am having an extraordinary ordinary life."~Lucky B*st*rd~

RS, My first low wing 'ride along and fly' was in a Bellanca Viking, 1970. Loved it. Welcome to "The Squawk", Sir. Best, LB"I am having an extraordinary ordinary life."~Lucky B*st*rd~

RB, Welcome to "Hobby Squawk", Sir. The WW would be awesome and/or a decent super-scale Mossie, wouldn't be to bad either. Best, LBOriginally posted by Ralph B View PostTheWestland Whirlwind would be a good edition.
This WW2 aircraft is very different to most of other WW2 twins and is pretty dramatic in flight.good looking .
