Unfortunately the F6F was not a big seller for us so it's tough to justify warehouse space for something that just doesn't move. I agree I think it is an excellent platform but sales dictate what we can carry due to limited warehouse space. We do have the FMS version though http://www.motionrc.com/fms-f6f-hellcat-blue-750mm-29-5-wingspan-pnp/ Maybe in the future we can get it added to the line from Dynam but not anytime soon. Sorry.

I have then FMS one and the main problem with this one was the landing gear. I replaced them and the model is just great now. I guess I will have to try and find elsewhere if you are not going to carry it.

I see FMS main site no longer has the 1400 F6 listed, if you check with some of the Hong Kong rc plane sites you will see that there are still some version 1 and version 2 FMS F6f planes for sale.
However, since Dynam is still making their version of the F6f plane I would opt to shop at one of the sites that carry the Dynam planes, check around there are a few sites, most have parts as well. Normally I would opt for the FMS version, however as Dynam is still making these planes I would opt for one of theirs. The Dynam planes are getting better, quality improves greatly.

xxx has them on sale now for $154 which does not include shipping. I will pass on this one as the shipping coast are probably expensive.

Edit: I xxx out the company name because of many complaints about poor service, poor shipping speed, no shipping, etc, etc. I felt compelled to for the protection of anyone who sees this. At any rate, Motion RC will have the plane and the total cost will be less when you include their shipping price vs Motion RC free shipping.

We will be receiving the Dynam F6F plane soon and remember it will ship for Free from Motion RC. The FMS was a slow seller because of poor quality. Unfortunately, all the issues were never fixed and FMS discontinued it due to slow sales which were really due to poor quality.

No one is a bigger supporter of MRC than I am but in fairness to everyone and in recognition of the free enterprise system, I feel compelled to let folks know that there is vendor that currently has the Dynam F6F on sale @ $145.

I trust MRC since they know most of the vendors. I am a firm believer if customer service and what I can tell from MRC comments, XXX has a bad reputation for such. I am waiting on MRC for my plane. I know and trust them.

OK I am currently in a staff meeting and brought up the F6F and in the past we were not going to carry it but Mark and Tom spoke privately with each other a few weeks back and decided to go ahead and stock it and forgot to tell the staff so I have egg on my face!! I repeat WE WILL GET THE F6F SO START SAVING YOUR MONEY NOW!!!!!

Thanks Wayne I hope they sell well enough to be worth the investment. I'll be getting one for sure. Hopefully the minimum number for your order isn't to many to move on to the lucky people who also buy one of these fine looking planes.

So that explains why there was a version 2 of the F6F. Wonder if that plane would be worth acquiring, then again since Dynam iis still making the F6F then it might be the better bet.

I still have my FMS Hellcat and the main quality control issue with the retracts. They were very weak and did not function most of the time. I still fly mine after replacing the landing gear with ones I made with metal trunnions with suspension. It is a good flying plane after I upgraded the motor and ESC for increased power.

Myself and some others here on the forum have been flying the Dynam F6F for a while and I can tell you that it is well worth the wait to get this airplane!

It makes for quite a presence in the air and in the pits.
