I was looking up an obsolete part this morning, and noticed this on the vendor's webpage:
"Please note: Many of our Panel Meters require modification. In these cases, delivery may be 3-5 days before shipping."
I don't know what delivery service this vendor uses, but getting delivery 3 to 5 days BEFORE shipping? That's pretty awesome! Just think - order the parts you need this coming weekend, and have them tomorrow! Really eager for that new plane? Imagine Motion RC offering you this option: "Order by 4 p.m. today, and have it by last Friday." Order it today, and you could have flown it yesterday!
FedEx used to have the slogan, "When it absolutely, positively, has to be there overnight." This shipper must have the slogan, "When it absolutely, positively, has to be there last week."
My new Cherokee is scheduled for delivery on Wednesday. I could have had it as early as last Monday! :D
