I've recently decided that I'm not really into prop planes anymore as jets are where my interests lie. But if it's something unique, like the C-130 Avios is releasing (hopefully) soon, I may have to reconsider. A Connie would fit that bill, especially if it was offered as an EC-121D Warning Star. ;)

The OV-10 is also considered a lightly armed recon aircraft, so it would seem to also fit into the guess that 5 Eyes refers to the 5 major intelligence services.

So on the "What's next Alpha?" thread, he made a post back in March that the next warbird was ATWR, which stood for "All-Terrain (Within Reason)." I wonder if that was in reference to Five Eyes?

He said this applied to the next warbird, so not sure he was talking about the F-22. Maybe he will chime in and clarify.

ATWR wasn't the Raptor, and it like Five Eyes is a prop plane.

I'd remind our friends that "Next" is most often regarding internal development milestones and rarely sequential in terms of public release date, for competitive secrecy concerns. Remember it's not just us friends who read Squawk. Hello, minders. :)

Notice that our team is always very guarded about stating definitive "X is coming out at this time, then Y is coming out at this other time". Aside from not wanting to lead people on or to prematurely showcase something that hasn't shipped yet, we use generalized terms because we can't afford for certain people with certain bits of knowledge to piece things together too clearly, too soon. Hence the dedicate balance of engaging customers such as yourselves with friendly puzzle games, without giving away too much to, shall I say, "non-customers" combing these forums.

My attitude on it is it's a good problem to have. Only Leaders get followed.

Well, you folks certainly did a monumental job of keeping a lid on "The FOIL" So many guesses and research on the Net for clues and info, but to no avail. Excellent work from a most excellent company! Now, if all companies were as together as Motion; then we'd have a much better world....

Thinking "Five Eyes" = a reference to FVEY

It has to be an OV10. Two props, Recon, all terrain (have you see the real one bounce over unimproved roadways?!). It has to be the Bronco

I smell a back to back release.

seams like a clue right there, maybe two prop planes in the works

Definitely sounds like Five Eyes and ATWR are two separate prop planes.

I think your on to something. That would be my guess too. Kiwi bird was a recon B-29 also. There is a famous story about a B-29 (I think Clobbered Turkey) that got shot down by the Russians that never happened according to both sides. It was a Recon B-29 as well.

I'm guessing 5eyes refers to crew size. That would make it probably a twin medium bomber.

So what bombers aren't spelled? Not any US planes. German? Henkel? Dornier?
