      RE: A Father's Day Greeting!

Thanks Bill! It has been a good day. Got out the flying field early this morning and had a great time. Even maidened my Taft B-25 today. Turned out to be a really good flying plane once trimmed in. Very stable, actually pretty fast too, most of the time I was flying around 1/2 throttle.

Hope you and all the other Dads out there have had just as much fun today too!

Thanks much for the greeting.  No flying today as it is just too hot for me!

          Greetings Guys',

Unfortunately, the Oklahoma winds come sweeping down the plains once again today.
No fly time for me...... But, there's always my trusty simulator!!! Where it's never too windy!!

          Have an Awesome Day!!

Wind has been bad this year here 20+ almost every day just changes direction. The few nice days I was at work don't think I've flown in about a month now. I'm having withdrawals.

                    HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL!!

One daughter phoned, at least that's something.  Anyway, off to the field bright and early.  We got the Apprentice into the air, and wow, what a great training airplane!  On beginner mode, its just like steering a car, you use 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock and just hold it over until your ready to come out of the turn, so simple.  Landing is super easy, just line her up, chop throttle and let her settle in.  Coming short, no trouble, a little back elevator to extend the glide.  The thing is almost stopped before she touches the ground, lots of time to think things through.
Diane did great on it, her first time without a buddy box, granted, I took it off and landed it for her, but it won't be long.Whipped Pandora two through the air as well as the Waco.  Wanted to take a Mustang, but I wanted to test fly the Pandora after her gear repair and I just couldn't fit another plane in the truck!
Was planning to go out again this evening but somethings blowing in.

All in all, a great Fathers Day!

Yeah, I also loved the Apprentice as it was my first RC plane. The thing I loved most was its durability, I cant tell you how many incidents I had on that bird, a little CA and back up. I probably went through a dozen motor mounts as it is the well designed weak link. I progressed with enough confidence that I modded it to an eflite 25 motor and turned it into a hotrod.

Had all my kids and grandkids over today so I got my flying in yesterday. With Chicago weather lately it's either to windy or raining. Well good flying to all.

I can't wait for Father's day so that I can use this greeting for my father. I remember when I used mesaje de 8 martie, urari si felicitari pentru femei to impress people and they really were impressed. I love doing stuff like this.
