If a Safe Select plane is initially bound using the binding procedure where Safe is off and only AS3x is enabled, can it be rebound using the binding procedure procedure where both Safe and AS3x are enabled and Safe is assigned to a switch to turn it on and off?

Yes, you can rebind to revise the settings.

You'll have to look in the manuals (or ask people with the exact same version) to get the correct results.

Binding sets the defaults for the "failsafe" system. so be sure to rebind with throttle at 0 after you have tested and set the reversal directions.

I typically bind with rudder held hard over, full up elevator, 0 throttle. A spin results on loss of control.
A plane in a spin isn't going too far for you to find it. 0 throttle spin is usually a lower energy impact than full throttle straight in, so more parts should survive.
Neutral controls and SAFE... the plane might glide for miles if it catches a thermal.
FF gliders and rubber power since 1966, CL 1970-1990, RC since 1975.

current planes from 1/2 oz to 22 lbs
