RE: Getting into edf jets
Huge congrats Jordan! Sounds like you had loads of fun with the Stinger 64. I'm never one to tell someone they can't do something, because you never know someone's aptitude and abilities.
However, a 90mm jet is a huge step to be the next one so soon, in my opinion. I personally had a very, very smooth transition from the 50mm, to 64mm, to 70, 80, 90, and now into the 105's. This of course, came over a period of time. The faster they get the more it is to handle. It's worth it to me to learn all the characteristics in time so you know what to expect.
I watched a couple of friends of mine total their new jets as they stepped up pretty quickly. Oh man, I hated seeing that!
But then again, they eventually stepped back in the saddle and learned a great deal from the experience. And now they are flying those same jets.
Follow your gut and your challenging spirit. I personally love a good challenge. But only when I can afford it. Ha, ha!????
