Motor/ ESC problem

Can anyone tell me why my new E-Flite 25 motor on a new Mantis 65A ESC will not start running until the throttle stick is about half way up? I'm using a 4 Ch. Spektrum rec. and a Dx6 trans. I've never had this problem. Thanks, Doc

Never mind! I just fixed it. I turned on the trans, moved the throttle to full, plugged in the battery, let it beep, moved the stick down to off, let it beep, and walla! It works! Thanks, anyway. Doc
