RE: Turning radio on and off changing batteries?

It's always better safe than sorry Doc! I believe, at least on my DX7s, that the low voltage alarm is set to 6.4v by default. Maybe somewhere in between?

Would it hurt for some instructions and warnings to be included with this pack? Doc
I put the optional 2000 Lilo pack in mine. 8.4 when fully charged and the charge bar reflects all levels when in use. Is your settings correct on tx for type of battery?
I found that I had my radio set for LiPo instead of LiOn. The bar works now. I set the low voltage warning for 7V. Should I set it lower? Thanks, Doc
I'll start out with a full 8.4 charge on a Saturday morning. Go and fly a dozen flights, with of course some time of testing/adjusting with the Tx on. Then, with good weather two days in a row, go fly another 10 flights. And I will show a reading of around 7.4-7.6 . And then say before the next full day of flying, I will charge it just for peace of mind.  Sooo, I think a 7V low voltage warning is good.
