    Need advice on aileron centering

The Hobby Lobby FJ-3 (F-86) is my first EDF and I’m not sure how to center the ailerons on the swept wing. Here’s 2 pics. My question is do I center the ailerons with the inner or outer part of the wing?

Looks to Me that the photo on the right shows the aileron hinge is not centered, or aileron is warped

When the wing or control surface is warped, you do the best you can. Have it test flown by someone who has some experience and then make adjustments as needed after that. Personally, if that were my plane, I’d line it up with the side nearest the fuselage as it’s got more material and is less likely to be warped. Then use the hot water trick and try to massage the rest of the wing straight (or control surface).
A lesson to be learned - buy better known brands of products.
