  • Tip for wheels on gear

I was noticing that some of the wheels are mounted on threaded bolts used as the axels . I took a coffee stirrer from McDonalds or any where really and cut it the width of the wheel . I placed on the axel then slide the wheel over it ,took out any slop and prevents the threads from chewing into the wheels .

Works for me just that I may throw it out there .

I usually use a thin brass tube - it lasts longer.

        Greetings,

Agreed, the first thing I thought of was how long would the straw last?

The brass tubing would do the trick.

        Good ideas guy's, thanks.

My local Ace Hardware has thin tubing, both aluminum and brass, and also my local hobby shop. Looks like the same display, so they probably get them from the same source.
