There is none really work well!
This is the dirty secret about polypropylene (EPO) foam. The surface is "waxy" therefore little will permanently bond to it. The OEMs haven't come up with a viable paint process.
Your idea of touch up painting as part of every day maintenance is about the only way to keep the models look good for a flying season or two.
I like to use Lowel's acrylic paint. They offer small test samples of custom mixed colors. They can match 90% of the FMS and Freewing colors. Not bad when you realize that often the OEMs can't keep the colors the same across all the parts of the model.
