Hi, I just received a Sport Cub S as a gift, it's the RTF version so it comes with a MLP6DSM transmitter. Opening the box, I noticed that the transmitter left stick position appears to be physically offset to the right quite a bit, so much so that you can definitely tell there is less available throw to the right than to the left. Does this look correct (see attachments) to anyone who has (or has seen) one of these? Or should I call to get it replaced?

RE: MLP6DSM Control Stick Offset
When you say less throw are you referring to the stick only or when the plane is on the amount of movement ? If you haven't tried it with the plane yet I would first try it to see if it is cutting it short . It looks like the tail wheel -rudder and it may not matter too much ...

I was referring to the stick movement only, as you can see in the pictures the left stick is significantly different from the right, it feels very strange that it's not centered. I haven't done anything with the plane yet, or even inserted batteries in the transmitter, I was hoping to get some feedback from MotionRC before doing anything else, I tried calling earlier but it looks like they are closed for the long holiday weekend.

From what I can see I would put the batteries in and taxi the plane across the ground to see how it does . You may have to add in a little trim adjustment . Most of the radios that come with the RTR planes are $25-$50 dollar radios . Not saying that's bad for what it is meant for but it doesn't have the high end type electronics in it that the bigger radios have . You'll never use that radio with anything else that I am aware of . It may can be opened and adjusted but I'm leaning toward not . Try to taxi and see how it does

If your in the beginning stages of flying, send it back. Learning to fly on a non centered stick may cause some unwanted stick habits.
If you've been flying for awhile then u probably have a better TX to bind to. Bind it to that and chuck the messed up one.

RE: MLP6DSM Control Stick Offset
Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. I was on a business trip the last couple days, I finally made it home today and called MotionRC, they had me open a support ticket and send the above photos so they can determine what to do next. They viewed the pics in this post while we were on the phone, they agreed that it looks like somethings not right with the transmitter.
