I am new to this hobby. I have been flying an Apprentice. Today I purchased my second plane. I bought the 1.2m T-28 TROJAN. I bought the model that has Flaps and retracts. Looking forward to flying this. I have a Spektum dm8 transmitter now I have to figure out how to program it.

Wing mode menu will do most of the programming for you.
Be sure to also look in the flap system settings or flaps will be disabled.
Get used to doing a "gear check" pass before landing to verify gear down by seeing the wheels. This doesn't have to be a low pass, just low enough to see the wheels.
Transition to the T-28 will be easy. Its a plane that people have used as their first airplane.
Experiment with the flaps with the airplane HIGH and if something desn't seem right you'll have time to pull the flaps up.FF gliders and rubber power since 1966, CL 1970-1990, RC since 1975.
