Has anyone here used the Spektrum tm1000 telemetry? I've read some reviews but I'd like to hear some more opinions on it. I plan on using it in the stinger 90 this summer so I was wondering how reliable and accurate the flight pack voltage sensor and temperature sensor are. Also I was thinking of installing the spektrum gps. Thanks in advance for any input.

RE: Spektrum TM1000 telemetry
I installed the TM1000 in my FW P51 last spring. So i have hundreds of flights with it. With my DX6 I have it setup to give me voice status updates on my battery voltage and temperature. It was very easy to install and bind, and i have never had any issues with it. I still set my timer when flying, but now i may go over or under my time set depending on how i'm flying. This is because i'm getting a realtime status update of the battery voltage. As far as the GPS, i've been very close to getting it. Price has kept me from having it ($99). Very very tempting. It's a good bet that i will have it by the time snow melts around here this spring. I am going to get another TM1000 for my new FW F-86 80mm.Lon

Thanks, I also have the dx6. I was going to install the tm1000 in my eflite p-51but I heard it won't work with as3x receivers. I actually just ordered the sky rc gps speed meter. Even though I can't see the height and speed while the plane is in the air, it's cheaper and I can move it to any plane without re-binding.Originally posted by LonI installed the TM1000 in my FW P51 last spring. RE: Spektrum TM1000 telemetry
I have the AR6210 that i'm hooked up with. Had you checked with Horizon or Spektrum to make sure? Just reading specs on the as3x recievers, 636 for example, it will work with the TM1000.Originally posted by jordan1387Thanks, I also have the dx6. Good point though about the Sky speed meter. easy to move from one plane to another to check your speed.Lon

I'll double check with horizon to make sure. Also I agree the gps is tempting, it's just so expensive. It would be nice seeing height and speed while it's in the air.Originally posted by LonI have the AR6210 that i'm hooked up with. Had you checked with Horizon or Spektrum to make sure?
