  • Admiral RX6600SP reciever in nitro plane???

Hello gentlemen, I want to use an Admiral RX600SP receiver in a new nitro project using a 4.8v nicad pack. I put the nicad pack into the "throttle" port and it powers up and binds to myTX as it should but I can't get the throttle servo to work. All other functions [ail, gear, elev, rud and flaps work fine].

I've tried throttle servo on a "y" lead with the battery...no joy. I've tried putting the battery in the bind/aux port...no change. Everything continues to work normally EXCEPT throttle.

Is there a different receiver I should be using? Does this 600sp only work properly with an esc/bec? This kind of BS was never a problem when all we had was nitro planes
