    Just ordered a couple admeral rx600 receivers,
    my question is this;
    1. Are they of good quality and range ?
    2. What plug config do they use ?
    3. Are they able to accept a plug in satalite rec, if so, whats whe purpose of it ??
    thanx guys !!

    1. Might have been wise to ask this before you bought them, but anyway ......................................... Yes, they are good quality, as good if not better than Spektrum (and much cheaper). As for range, you must arrange the antennas in the correct way or it might fail a range test. My experience is not with Admiral but with the Lemon counterpart, from which the Admirals derived. A satellite is my preferred way to utilize these types of RXs (with diversity antennas).
    2. Not sure what you mean by "plug config". They use a standard "JR" plug as opposed to the Futaba plug which has that side ridge. Even if you have Futaba plugs, you simply just cut the ridge off with a razor. The ridge is so people don't accidentally reverse polarity when installing.
    3. If you look at the picture of the RX600, you can clearly see the "SAT" port. You should get the compatible Admiral DSMX satellite RX. This will allow for a safety margin in terms of reception and range as you can position the SAT in an optimum orientation to cover any "blind spots" that the main antennas may have.

      Being the home of Motion RC and Admiral being their house brand receivers, you should get pretty positive feedback. With good reason. They are great value receivers. If they have the functionality you are after then go for it. As with any Rx, observe good practice in mounting/placement of antennae

      The funny thing about receivers (and radios in general) is people will crash a plane and, regardless of whether it was the Rx at fault or not, determine it was a radio problem and spend the rest of their lives badmouthing the brand/protocol.
