  • E.U. WEBSITE ISSUES.

I live in the U.K. and have an account with motion.

Every time I go onto the E.U. account web pages, I have to first go to the draw down list and change my country from Albania to the United Kingdom.
Then under that, there is a choice box for either Euros or British Pounds. I have to change that box from the default setting of Euros over to Pounds, and press the "done" box.
Then I can go to the view the EU warehouse listings (say for RC Jets) and look for what I want to look at.
Say I move to the next page (page 2 for example), then the price shown under each aircraft changes back to the default setting of Euros !

Then I have to go back in to the menu page to re-select pounds again.

Then, say I want to look at the 90mm A 10 individual listing the page resets back to euros yet again. 🤬

then, if I go to look up a individual part, the price reverts yet again to Euros.

Frankly this is all a real pain in the bottom 🤬🤬🤬

Please can Motion do something about this and change the way in which the prices are shown on your pages.

Can the web pages be set up by default to the country of each account holder viewing your site at the beginning or even better, as part of the initial set up of that individuals account.

It can't be that hard to do that.
As it is currently, it can be exstremely frustrating to have to change these settings each and every single time I log in, and even more so each time I go to view a different page.

    Yours,

    Gordon Fraser.

    Hi Gordon,

I just tested this out, and when I do exactly as you described the prices stay converted properly. This is without me signing in or creating an account.

    - Have you tried this after signing into your account to see if it makes a difference?

    - Have you checked to see if it is a cookie issue within the browser?

    - Have you tried a different web browser, as well as a different platform such as desktop versus smartphone/tablet?

I have gone back today to try the site again, and it now seems to hold the uk setting after selection.

The euros/pounds side is still defaulting to euros both at start, and as before, on each page change. I have to go to the "money " settings and the window will show its still set to pounds, yet the money on the changed page is set back to the default euro setting regardless.
I have to first select euros on the money setting, then reselect it back to pounds again, before the next page reverts to showing the item price in pounds.

Thanks for your efforts so far.

      Gordon.
