can a eflite 3900kv EFLH1516 motor be used in a airplane if so what size?

If you go to the product page for this motor on the Horizon site, you can see all the products for which it is compatible. You will quickly see that this motor is meant for little helicopters, which generally have some ratio of gearing from the motor shaft to the rotor. For an airplane with a direct drive, it is unlikely it will work very well for any size.
