FMS 3-D Foamies

This question is for Mark or anyone who can help. My club has a grass landing strip and I was thinking of purchasing a 3-D foamie from Motion. Question is, which one is best suited for grass runways? Or will any of the 3, 1300mm planes Motion offers land on grass? I know the wheel pants sometimes hinder grass landings so I am a little worried. Thanks for your help!

I have the FMS 1300mm Sbach and candidly I would not recommend it on grass. Unless your grass is very low, almost like a putting green, the plane will likely nose over on taxi and landing. The wheels and wheel pants are not really made for grass fields. The landing gear is tough, so can it be done?, yes, I have seen people fly off of short grass, but my recommendation would be to fly off a paved surface with any of the 3D planes we carry (all wheels are scale and not very large diameter). My two cents, others please weigh in.

I have the fms yak and on short grass I have no problem with taxi takeoffs or landings. Highly recommend it

Tried that, but for some unknown reason was promptly escorted off the field and told not to come back.
