  • P-39 Airacobra 1.2m

Hello all.... just joined this... My name is Mike.. everyone calls me Zman.... I have the P-39 and have two questions if I may.....
One, If anyone knows the name of the colors that best match the brown and green on this warbird would be great. Second, are there any instructions on how to replace the front landing gear on the P-39?
    Thank you in advance....

Go to the paint department of Loews, Home Depot. They have a computer scanner to match colors. Bring the plane or a part which has the brown and green to scan. Ask for a sample size of each which is plenty for touch ups Costs about $5 for each sample. Most paint stores do it too, but usually require to get a quart which is 4x more expensive. I used Lowes for my P-39 and color match was spot on.

go to Home Depot. You can get sample sizes from THD in Flat/Matte finish. Lowes samples sizes are semi gloss.
