Question on spectrum forward programming

Does anyone know if the DX8 gen 1 is compatible with ar 630 receiver forward programming or is there a update can't find any information

I don’t believe it is. I think only Gen 2 and higher have forward programming. One way I find out for sure is to bind to an AR receiver that can be forward programmed. If your TX can do it, “forward programming” will miraculously materialize on the menu page when you scroll down to it.
