Doc,
She is still around, her last post was just on Thurs over on this thread. http://www.hobbysquawk.com/forum/rc-...50-quad-builds

Yeah, I hear you guys, its just not the same without Rocketeer (Bill) and Hippie64 (Bryan). We know what happened with Hippie, and he's still around, just not posting (I hope) I've tried e mailing Rocketeer, but have heard nothing back. I just hope he's okay, its always a funny 'hair in the back of your neck' sort of feeling when all of a sudden, nothing.
I have seen Lauren around as well, so she's still hanging in there, which is awesome

Did I miss something? What happened to Hippie? He didn't do anything rash, after his irrational1 entanglement with me?
I suspect folks are spending more time outside with family and chores rather than getting writers cramps here on Hobby Squawk.
1Yes that is a judgement call on my part!Comment

I'd love to see that flying at an event! At Big Jolt last year, Superman, Iron Man, and Snoopy on a Doghouse all came to fly. Quite a hoot!Live Q&A every Tuesday and Friday at 9pm EST on my Twitch Livestream

She does garner a lot of attention. The creator, Otto Dieffenbach, is the guy. You can get a laser cut kit or he'll make you one fully ready to fly for about $1000.00. He's in San Diego. At my suggestion, he made a flying Dumbo, the elephant. Unfortunately, he didn't market it.Comment

I gave her a hair cut to keep it out of the props. For added security, I used FoamTac as "hair gel". ;)
I must admit that the manikin head and wig made it a handful to fly - very hard to balance properly. An interesting note: Otto made one that resembled a Victoria Secret model, with slinky under garments and the angel wings. The real life Victoria Secret model that the plane was mimicking was present for the maiden flight. :angel:Comment

No, it didn't want to swap ends but control response is a bit sluggish. Her measurements are verified at 32-C (with 35mm nips .... er, I mean wheels), 22, 36. Being a "modern" woman, she refused to sign anything. :sick:Comment
