  • Our First Winner(s) of the "Join The Conversation and Win" Contest Announced!

We would like to formally announce our first prize winner in our "Join The Conversation and Win" contest! The winner is selected randomly from a list of members we feel over the last month have offered the best combination of quality and quantity in their contributions to various Hobby Squawk threads.

Since this is our inaugural winner, we have decided to offer the choice between two planes (see below). In addition we have selected a runner up to receive a $50 Motion RC gift certificate!

So without further ado, the winner is...

OV10 who has won his choice: Either the FlightLineRC La-7 or the FlightLineRC Sea Fury!

Our runner up goes to Lon. You will be receiving a $50 Motion RC Gift Certificate!

Congratulations to OV10 and Lon for being the first winners in our Join The Conversation and Win contest! For the rest of you fear not, the contest will continue to offer great prizes to new lucky flyers each month, so keep the conversation flowing and maybe our next winner will be you!

Wow, you don't see this kind of membership appreciation from the other forum sites.

As this was a raffle the real congratulations goes to Hobby Squawk for recognizing it is the membership that makes forum sites work. So my hat is tipped to MotionRC/Hobby Squawk's management. Thank you from all of us members.

But it is a GOOD CREEP cause the commercialization topic was a short lived thread due to lack of substance.

Thankfully that was true! But my concern was very real! But to degenerate into hair bands, it should have been allowed to drift into the sunset with its dignity intact.
