  • Cool Plane Holder

With almost 25 planes I am running out of space for them so I made this plane holder to hold a few of the new planes I have. I made this out of 1 1/4 pvc.

Before I got my truck I made a smaller one to transport a few planes to the field.

ID:	33985I had about 50 planes in my hangar and made the same exact racks. Over the past few weeks I've sold a bunch of planes, trying to thin out the hangar because I just don't have the same flying time that I did before. I'm down to about 30 planes, looking to sell more when I can come to grips to which ones I can let go and not suffer internally too much . Ha!
I have three of these racks sitting under my arbor if anyone wants them. They are in excellent shape. I would just ask that you pay for the postage and the box. They simply slide into each other and assemble very easily. Comes with the padded arms too. If interested just let me know and we can arrange for shipment.

I built the pvc style like the one you posted, but after seeing this style, this is what I have now on my wall. You put up a shelf bracket and put the pvc over the shelf bracket. Fully adjustable so there is no wasted space

Weedsnager, would you please post more photos of your setup? Photos of the floor base, the top, and maybe without planes on it? It looks like you have a great setup there and I'd like to take a closer look.

I will purchase the racks in a heart beat. I will pay for the boxing, postage and whatever you want for them. I really need some storage space. I also have two Futaba 7C radios that I do not need now after upgrading. The price is real reasonable. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Over the last week I have been tweaking the plane holder. I have made it much more compact. I am thinking of adding another level to the top of it.
