I started going through some stuff I have that I got from a friend getting out of rc flying. In this was a FMS 3648- kv600 motor paired with a Hobby King hk-50a esc. Also there was the servos. All of these parts came out of an cms mustang. The only problem I have is not knowing what size. The motor doesn't match anything listed right now. I would love to get a kit for it. I need a recommendation from anyone who knows the electronics of a model I could put this in. All ideas would be appreciated. Mainly into warbirds.

Hello Dewey,
The FMS 3648-600kV motor was used on the now discontinued 1400 FMS P-40E and Spitfire and both were using a 14x8x3 prop.
It is still in use on the 1400 Stuka and that uses a 13x9x3 prop. So now you should be able to pick a kit similar in size and weight, good adventure.

Thanks a lot OV10.
I'll definitely look in that size and direction. I figure I'm missing out a lot by just buying ARFs and just flying them. Even though I love it. I am wanting to do more now. I'm currently begging Aros and Gman to put up some videos showing there processes there using on the iron Ass p51. There planes are looking great. Anyone else adding in there input would be iceing on the cake.Dewey l
