  • Plane for 1300 mah 2s

I've got a couple 1300 2s batteries that need a plane to power. What are some good options?
You might be able to fly it, but can you land it?

Looking at smaller than I normally fly...

What style of flying do you like best? There will be planes out there that can use the packs, singly or both at once paralleled for capacity or in series for 4S voltage.
FF gliders and rubber power since 1966, CL 1970-1990, RC since 1975.

current planes from 1/2 oz to 22 lbs

I fly scale planes, along with some sport planes. A fun flier for the backseat of my car is what I'm looking for.

Looks like you found a hole in the available ARF/PNP market... mostly flat profile foamies for 3D using that size pack.

Stevensaeromodels and Mountain Models have some kits that would fill the bill... You'd have to look through the specs to pick ones that are right for 2S 1000 to 1500 mah packs.

They have some fairly easy to build kits... and some not so easy.

Unfortunately, it does seem like there is a hole in the industry where this battery is concerned. I've found that the 800mm to 900mm FMS warbirds usually use the battery, along with the FMS mini moa and blanik.

The FMS 800mm line will use these batteries quite well. Scale performance on 2S, much faster on 3S. Great little warbirds, you can throw several in your car, and just a blast to zip around a (big) park with. That said, I've sworn off the FMS line since Horizon Hobby's takeover...
I hate that motorcycle they make me ride. I'm here to tell you, there ain't nothing in the world I hate more than that elephant under my ass.

There are lots of options if you like to build but they will be rather light \ somewhat fragile.
                For example: http://www.patscustom-models.com/
However these are "buillders kits" but produce really nice outcomes.
