  • FMS 1400 Corsair V2

I have his model with the 650kv motor and 4 cell 4000 battery. The stock 14x8 4 prop seems slow and I am looking at a 2 blade 15x10 prop. I know it will have less torque, but more speed. Any suggestions?

According to the math, your choice of a 15x10x2 is a close match, power wise, to the 14x8x4. If a 15x12 is available, and you have some headroom in your power system, you might look for that, as the 15x10 would be slightly less power, according to the calculator. A 15x11 is closest, but try to find an odd pitch. Personally, I would try to find a wood electric prop in that size, because they are stiffer than most plastic props, and, possibly because of that, just sound better. I've been using Xoar brand, but there are others just as good.
