  • How about a Erocoupe...

I see a couple of these still flying in my area now and then and thought that it would make an interesting RC plane. It has an interesting history.. 1st aircrarft to use JATO, WWII trainer, and was also made out of wood when the metal was scarce during the war and was also used for submarine spotter duty on the US coast.

Yea That was what I was thinking also.. Guess I should have been clearer in my request. I knew of the Balsa one which is pretty neat!

Same thing, I looked and thought, hey that's cool, then the PRICE and then the WINGSPAN!
I think that falls under the category of, "Who says we can build a big foamy and charge an arm and a leg", check out the original price!
I know foam is becoming scarce, but ow!!!

The Ercoupe I listed is balsa and ply construction, not foam. Seagull does not make foam planes.

Yes am aware, just happen to have a Seagull Skyraider so I know that what you listed is balsa/ply construct and that they don't make foam. My original post was for supporting the OP's request to Motion who only deal with foam airframes.

Sorry for the confusion, thought you were responding to my first post since I quoted you on your first post. That's the nice thing about the quote feature, removes any confusion on who your talking to.
                    Best regards,

Sorry for the confusion, still a great airplane that , I would think, falls under the category that Flightline wants to take. A seldom represented airplane.
I remember seeing a lot of these at small fields when I was a kid.

There is a small airfield not to far from here that has a couple of them and last week I was going by our regional airport and noticed one talking off from there and from that I thought I would make the request per the forum. I find it a unique looking plane..

I remember thinking, "A single engine plane with a P38 tail, cool!!!"

More like a B-25 tail....no twin fuse booms ;). I can see FlightLine or Dynam doing this at a 50" span.

Yep, that's true, it would be something unique. I saw the coolest little RV4 at the fly in and when I asked about it, the fellow who owned it said the kit was discontinued.

Too Bad, that's it on the bench, neat plane.
