    Static display with lights on?

I have been invited to do a static display for an event at our local airport. I would like to display my AL37 with the lights on.

I have throttle cut programmed so I can be reasonably sure the throttle won't be accidently engaged, but I was wondering if it will harm the ESCs to sit for a couple of hours with them energized?

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

I keep a couple of 4.8V (nominal) NiMH packs around for just this kind of thing. I'd power the system from the NiMH so there's no chance of an accidental motor start while the model is basically unattended.
