Sorry MRC but my favorite lanyard strap came from Bushnell. I took the strap from some old binoculars and used it for my radio strap it has a section off soft foam type material about 12 inches long and 1 1/2 wide that is super comfortable and doesn't slip. The manufacturers of radio straps should make something similar if one did they would own the market.

That appears to be very similar in design to the Spektrum lanyards. I use my DX8 one all the time. I'd use the MRC one if I had one (just to advertise for them at my fields). This is only a suggestion but MRC might consider throwing one in as a gift when the purchase is over $XXX.00. At 3 bucks retail each, that shouldn't add too much to the overhead. It's not something that I'd consciously think of adding to the cart when I make a purchase as I've got lanyards coming out the ying yang. Raymond at RC Castle has been doing this for a while now. He'll throw in something small (read, "inexpensive") and mark it as "gift". Sometimes, the item is relevant to the other item(s) in the purchase and sometimes not but the gesture gives a little warm, fuzzy.

My favorite is the strap off of a carry-on luggage piece. Nice and wide. Clips on both ends. That lets me use it for a home made transmitter tray or to connect to a key ring through the fitting on the TX face.

I'm not fond of the thin lanyards that cut into my neck with the weight of a TX.

Good suggestion Viper, but its really no big deal MRC. However, it is a great suggestion on saying Thank You. It does make you feel good to at least always see a Thank You in every order on the packing slip with a order received. I do think I will order a extra one to have on hand. I have a Tactic one on my Tactic, but do have a DX 5 with the Apprentice so a MRC at 3 bucks will work just great.
