I dont know fatuba but i can reccomand spektrum, wide range of products and the NX gets updates often. Easy program/ telemetrie if you want to and build in easy programmable safety setups are an option.
a tip, go with a transmitter with as manny channels as your budget allows you to.
Futaba has been in the RC business for decades, long before Spektrum. The 6K will be fine, Spektrum will be fine, either way, if you believe you’re going to continue flying RC, get as much radio as you can afford. Look at available receivers and how much they cost. Each brand generally uses their own receiver type that won’t work with other brands. As your number of planes increase, and they will if you keep flying, you’ll need a receiver in each. Either will last for a good long time as RC manufacturers are reluctant to make changes that sunset their own equipment.

Yes, get as much radio as you can afford. 8ch or more. Model memory, that 6ch has 30 which I consider minimal. Cheap receivers especially if you will have more than a few aircraft. Remember that there are second party manufacturers that sell receivers compatible with some transmitters, example Spektrum receivers are uber expensive so I use a lot of Orange and Redcon that are compatible.
I consider Futaba a minor player in the market, JR used to be big but is almost non existent now, FRSky and Radiomaster are up coming and Spek is still the most popular where I am. Radiomaster has transmitters that work on multiple types of protocols so you can use different brand receivers. Also think about warranty and service, does your choice have any service and if so is it free and for how long. Spektrum through HH has been typically just about lifetime free repair in my experience but they do not sell parts so you have to send it in if you need something.
Last, Bind and fly... Most BnF airplane use the Spektrum DSMX and DSM2 protocol so if you are wanting to buy them or other Efite aircraft you will need to have something compatible or buy a second transmitter or maybe swap out a receiver. Most of the micro BnF you can not swap receivers.
