Left or Right ???

Hello everyone , i got a RC spitfire and unfortunately my aileron servo broke after setting it up , my question is how we know left or right so i can replace it? is it like in aviation and in cars, always designated from the perspective of the driver/pilot ? Looking at nose cone, Left is Right and Right is Left?

Port and starboard are defined from the pilot's perspective, looking foward, just like on a ship. Red nav light on port side, green on starboard.
